Brief introduction

Established in 1999, Nanjing Medical University International Research Centre for Nasal Allergy (NINA) aims to be a centre of excellence in allergy research and clinical practice. NINA has research interests in the epidemiology and molecular aspects of nasal allergy and related disorders, including atopy, hay fever, rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal polyps, asthma and other respiratory allergies. Research into these areas is conducted within two medical units, NINA at Nanjing (China) and NINA at Sendai (Japan). Current main efforts are focused on the epidemiology, molecular genetics, immunopharmacology and clinical care of allergic diseases both in China and Japan (see list of publications).
